Still life has its challenges. Jeff will bring life into your work by teaching ways of conceptualizing the subject that engages the viewer. Learn how to think in terms of painting light and movement. Students will learn Jeff’s thought process in setting up a subject and executing it by going directly to oil paint. Observe as Jeff demonstrates his painting methods and principles each day with commentary throughout the process. There will be open discussions on material choices, prop selection, paint application, values, colors choices and lighting. Students will receive special attention to their particular needs.
