The nude is the most enduring subject in art. When we draw the human form, we reflect on ourselves. In this workshop you will learn how beautiful figure drawings are created. Over the course of several days, you will work with both short and long poses: diving into gesture, proportion and form. Studio sessions will start with a daily demonstration and discussion before drawing from the model. Aristides will alternate critiques and ongoing drawings so that you can see how finished drawings from the model develop. The most engaging drawings combine technique and expression. You will have the opportunity to develop both aspects of drawing throughout the workshop as we explore the beauty of the human form. www.aristidesarts.com
