For the safety of our staff, students and instructors, Scottsdale Artists’ school is continuing to encourage guests who come to the school to wear facial masks, regardless of vaccination status. Our staff works daily to diligently follow protocols as recommended by the CDC and we remain eager to serve our students.
However, Scottsdale Artists’ School is not responsible for the health of our students. Students attending our programs must do so of their own volition while prioritizing their own health.
We thank you for your consideration so we can continue to serve you.
What SAS is doing:
- Masks or face coverings are encouraged for all staff, instructors, students and visitors while on the school premises.
- Max capacity numbers per room have been revised to follow social distancing for facility, artists, models, instructors, summer camp students and visitors
- All frequently used surfaces are being disinfected and cleaned regularly.
- All equipment has been sanitized and will continue to be cleaned between student usage
- Sanitizing stations have been installed in each studio and we ask that you use these regularly. These are in addition to the sinks in each room with antibacterial soap provided.
What we ask of you:
- Regardless of vaccination status, we encourage students to wear masks at all times, especially in shared spaces such as hallways.
- Maintain safe distance between you and other people who are around you.
- Do not gather in one place – entrances, doorways, front desk, etc.
- Wash your hands with soap and water and use the hand sanitizer regularly, especially after touching frequently used items or surfaces.
“Your Guide to Masks” by the CDC
- If you are not fully vaccinated and aged 2 or older, you should wear a mask in indoor public places.
- In general, you do not need to wear a mask in outdoor settings.
- In areas with high numbers of COVID-19 cases, consider wearing a mask in crowded outdoor settings and for activities with close contact with others who are not fully vaccinated.
- People who have a condition or are taking medications that weaken their immune system may not be fully protected even if they are fully vaccinated. They should continue to take all precautions recommended for unvaccinated people, including wearing a well-fitted mask, until advised otherwise by their healthcare provider.
- If you are fully vaccinated, to maximize protection from the Delta variant and prevent possibly spreading it to others, wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission.
