Artful News Spring II 2024

It is never too late to set another goal and dream another dream!

Being an artist is an instinct, an obsession, a part of us that cannot be denied. Art can be pure happiness -- a happiness that comes not by chance but by choice. I can also be

emotionally hard, we often work to exhaustion, and loneliness is our constant companion. Yet, Art gives meaning to our lives, and we perpetually express our thoughts, ideas,

passion, and feelings through it. The creative act of creating something makes us feel

alive and fulfilled.

As artists, we want to be productive and successful. The following artistic

goals should help you be more productive, and therefore, more successful:

Learn new skills:

We should all strive to learn or develop new art skills. Demonstrating creativity and innovation is so much easier when you are in the company of like-minded individuals. Taking a class, or better, a series of classes at the Scottsdale Artists’ School will open new doors and will revitalize your creative thinking.

Network with other artists:

Collaborate, exchange ideas, share techniques, and immerse yourself in an artistic community. Get involved! At the Scottsdale Artists’ School, instructors and fellow students alike will give insight into their methods and vision and will open your mind to new approaches and styles.

Find a mentor:

The Scottsdale Artists’ School is a family of artists. We share our struggles and celebrate

our successes. We help each other, and many of our instructors have become mentors

and guides to our students.

Increase your artistic output:

Produce more art and share it with your peers and instructors. Set a date, take a class, and make it happen! Don’t procrastinate! Being a student at the Scottsdale Artists’ School will give you the proper structure to help you reach your artistic objectives.

Don’t wait:

Don’t let “later” become “never!” Do it now.
