In this class, students will concentrate on mixing flesh tones from only three colors, discovering the beautiful array of color that only the primaries provide. The students will all be emailed Jean’s photo reference as well as a copy of her finished portrait, so they can sketch the portrait onto the canvas at home and bring it to class. (Individual help will be given to correct the drawing, if desired). This will save valuable time to enable the class to dive into mixing beautiful flesh tones as demonstrated by Jean. Time will be spent seeing the correct values and mixing those values in color. Demos will be in oil, but pastel is also welcome. www.jeanhildebrant.com
