This exciting five-day oil painting workshop will explore two subjects that many artists struggle to paint confidently, Rocks and Roses. The main emphasis of this multi day workshop will be to give you the tools you need to approach either subject without hesitation so you can create paintings filled with life and light. Students will have the option to study both subjects or focus on one for the full five days, multiple demonstrations will be given on both. Matt's method is to simplify first, establishing values and then focusing on color temperature to create depth and texture that will bring your canvas to life. He will offer individual guidance and critique on composition, drawing, color harmony, color temperature and values. This fun and immersive workshop will consist of demonstrations, discussion and plenty of hands-on painting for all participants.
