Jerry will be teaching an exciting sculpture class in which students will create their own small sculpture in wax and watch it cast in bronze at a foundry. In the first two sessions, students will learn the history and mysteries of bronze casting and create a small 6” sculpture to later be cast in bronze. For the third session, students will meet at the foundry where they will experience the bronze casting process, including a bronze pour and the divestment of their own sculptures. The final session will meet back at the School where the class will finish and photograph their bronze sculptures.
