During this workshop, students will learn Dan’s technique and approach to capturing the essence and mood of natural landscapes in-studio. Dan will demonstrate his methods of composition, color mixing, and brushwork. Concepts such as perspective, depth, value, light, and shadow will be discussed, and students will be given personalized guidance and feedback. The emphasis will be on the importance of the fundamentals and how to best apply them to your paintings.
