John Hughes

John Hughes is an award-winning instructor who has taught for the Scottsdale Artists School in the past with rave reviews! He has also taught a plein air class at the college level for the past 20 years, and his classes fill up very fast! Additionally, John has written almost 100 articles for various art magazines, including Plein Air Magazine’s Newsletter, which recently published his 50thcolumn. 

John is a member of the Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters and he’s a Signature Member of the American Impressionist Society. He is also  featured in the book, “Painters of Grand Teton National Park” by Donna and James Poulton; a lavishly illustrated volume for any serious Teton painter.
