About Studio Support Donation
By fundraising the School underwrites each adult student on average of $200 per workshop. We rely on the generosity of our donors to help support the School and many have done so by paying it as a donation. Thank you for your generosity. The “Tuition Price” alone or an added donation: “Studio Support Donation.” “Studio Support Donation” is a tax-deductible donation to the School.

Learn how to make water look wet, reflective and splashy! With a stunning waterfall or an intimate woodsy creek as a model, students will study water in motion and glassy reflection. Painting water that looks wet requires some basic knowledge of the dynamics of how water moves and how objects are reflected in its mirror surface. In addition to traditional watercolor methods, students will learn to use “acrylic underpinnings” to set the stage for vibrant colors in their “waterscape” paintings. Reference photos will be supplied, or students may use their own. There will be demos, instruction at all levels, critique and lots of painting time. Class time will be structured, yet open enough to accommodate the artistic spirit within us all. www.juliegilbertpollard.com
