Every painter has spent time trying to save a painting-it almost never works! Much better to “start smart” and follow a proven process to create a foundation that won’t fail. Every artist strives for a great start to make their landscape painting more enjoyable to paint. Creating a solid structure for their work-designing those “good bones of the picture”-makes everything easier after that. David will share a workable and reliable procedure with his students that will greatly assist them in planning their paintings to get just that! He’ll also share useful and practical tips in working with color, values and light, to develop their landscapes into their visions. The proven answer is to plan better, practice, and have a procedure that is both workable and reliable. With a good foundation, an artist can feel more connected to their scene and tell their story with the greatest impact. Demonstration and personalized instruction will be provided.
