Join Linda at the Desert Caballeros Museum as she teaches a two-day workshop where students will paint a landscape in the Museum Learning Center using photographs supplied by the instructor. The goal will be to create simple designs that have a strong foundation. Students will learn to create a feeling of the landscape that gives the painting life, instead of just copying a photograph. Much attention will be directed toward color mixing, the use of the color wheel and color mixing charts. This workshop will include instructor demonstrations. Photographs supplied by the instructor will include subject matter from the Grand Canyon, desert vistas, interior forests and high mountain scenes.
