Foundation Studies: Painting II

Foundation Studies: Painting II

In this second session, Jerry will expand on the core elements from Painting I. Students will be introduced to a full palette of colors which they will use to paint portraits, figures and still life. Students will experiment with their palette to see the vast amount colors they can mix. This fun and educational class is designed to push skills to a higher level. Painting I is not required for students with Intermediate skills.

Artists and students will have the opportunity to work with drawing and painting instructors; Jerry Salinas, Mike Little and Jennifer Freeman to start and work on paintings and drawings with the goal of completing a finished work. The sessions are open to all and will be limited to 8 students. Open dialogue, critiques and technical assistance will move students to their goal within a positive environment. This will be an engaging and fun experience. Work completed in Assisted Artist Studio will be eligible for entry into student shows and competition.
