Palette Project
CALLING EMERGING ARTISTS AGES 17-22
January 26-28, 2024, study with renowned artist and instructor Daniel J. Keys!
Each year SAS hosts a free two-day mentorship program with renowned oil painter Daniel J. Keys. This unique weekend workshop, titled ‘Palette Project’, is designed for young artists ages 17-22 who aspire to cultivate their talent and skills into a future art career. Each year candidates are selected from around the country based on their skills, passion and experience as reflected in an original essay submitted to the artist for review.
“If our youth are also our future, then wouldn’t we be wise to say that the future of art is in the hands of today’s children? We must view each opportunity to educate our youth about art as an investment in the future of art itself. That’s why the Scottsdale Artists’ School and I are so passionate about teaming up and organizing this new youth painting workshop.”
