High School Students
June 9 - 13 -- 1 week
June 23 - July 2 -- 8 days
July 21 - July 25 -- 1 week
1 week=$300 / 8 days=$400
These portfolio building classes follow a format similar to adult classes with an emphasis on drawing exercises, development of observation skills and painting techniques. Workshops includes lectures, demos, and the opportunity for students to experience drawing from clothed models, still lifes and photographs. Does not include ceramics.
SATURDAY ART CLASSES / OPEN STUDIO
For Kids and Teens – 9 am to 12 pm
Saturday classes at Scottsdale Artists’ School Youth Academy provide innovative visual-arts education to children and teens who want to be creative in their free time.
Scottsdale professional artists, Carrie Curran or Linda Pullinsi, provide hands-on instruction in drawing and painting techniques to beginners while advanced students work independently with instructor guidance. Young artists, ages 9 to 17 can expect to have their artistic sensibilities valued and encouraged in exciting ways. Class size is limited.

Students are asked to bring their own sketch books. All other supplies will be provided for Saturday classes only.
