Scottsdale Artists’ School is an equal opportunity educator and welcomes diversity. The School does not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities, nor on the basis of gender, race, color, sexuality, national or ethnic origin, or religion.
Supply lists are available online at the bottom of each class description. Supply lists will be mailed to students approximately forty-five (45) days prior to the workshop, along with the invoice. If you have questions regarding supplies, or cannot afford certain supplies specified on the list, please call the school before purchasing them.
Skill levels are noted by each workshop/class description to help you derive as much success from the course as possible. Selecting a class with a higher skill level than you possess can be a frustrating experience. Unless otherwise noted, all students should have good basic drawing skills before attempting a workshop.
Weekly classes designated for beginners are appropriate for students with little or no art experience. Students are always welcome to contact the Education Director (1-800-333-5707) for suggestions on workshops/classes that meet their skill level and area of interest, or for a suggested curriculum.
Please note that Scottsdale Artists’ School programs, with the exception of Youth Academy, are designed for adults. Students younger than 18 years of age are occasionally admitted to classes. Please contact the Program Director or Executive Director for details.
