To kids 9-15 at SAS’ Youth Academy
Scottsdale, AZ (March 4, 2008) Kids ages 9-15 experience new and imaginative ways of expressing creativity through the wonderful world of art under the guidance of professional artists during spring break at the Youth Academy of Scottsdale Artists’ School.
The spring break Youth Academy workshop will be held March 10 to 14 from 9am to 3pm. “This workshop provides creative opportunities in a stimulating environment where children explore their imaginations and express their unique self through the visual arts”, says Carrie Curran, director of Youth Academy. Children will learn drawing, painting, mixed media and sculpture in the working studios of Scottsdale Artists’ School, located in historic LaLoma School in the heart of the city’s arts district.

Hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm weekdays and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Saturdays. Admission is free and open to the public. Scottsdale Artists' School is located at 3720 N. Marshall Way in the Scottsdale Arts District (SW corner of 2nd Street and Marshall Way). Free parking is available in the school's parking lot
