SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (July 22, 2009) – Scottsdale Artists’ School announced the 2009-2010 workshop and weekly class schedule. Renowned Artist Instructors from throughout the United States and abroad will come to the School in Old Town Scottsdale beginning October 5, 2009.
The schedule includes a week of workshops by seven members of the Cowboy Artists of America, April 17 – 23, 2010. Cowboy Artists Harley Brown, John Coleman, Bruce Greene, Mehl Lawson, Oreland Joe and R.S. Riddick will conduct workshops for aspiring artists interested in learning from these masters of the American West.

The Oil Painters of America (OPA) will hold their annual meeting in Scottsdale April 31 – May 2, 2009. Scottsdale Artists’ School will host the OPA members’ plein aire painting exhibit April 29, 30 and May 1. Saturday, May 1, the School will be open to the public for demonstrations by Master members of OPA.
