Winter-Spring Schedule Offers Array of Art Classes
Scottsdale Artists' School Open for Online Registration

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (December 8, 2008) – The Scottsdale Artists’ School, completing 25 years of excellence in fine art instruction announces open registration for the 2009 Winter-Spring Local Classes. Artists of all levels may register for classes in traditional painting, drawing, and sculpture by calling (480) 990.1422 or online at www.ScottsdaleArtSchool.org. Classes and Workshops run January through May 2009 and offer a variety of traditional fine art studies with professional artists.

We are featuring a few exciting additions this spring such as a mini-workshop in woodblock printing with Leon Loughridge of Denver, Colorado. In addition to the classes here at the school, we have expanded to offer local classes in the North Valley and The Phoenix Art Museum.

Founded in 1983, Scottsdale Artists' School is a non-profit art institution located in the Arts District of Scottsdale, Arizona. Dedicated to artistic enrichment, the School teaches the fundamentals of representational art to artists and aspiring artists who attend the School from all 50 States any many foreign countries. With a visiting faculty of about 140 of the nation's best teaching artists, the School offers over 200 workshops and classes a year to approximately 3,000 students with all levels of competency in oil painting, watercolor, pastel, sculpture, and drawing.

Hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm weekdays and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Saturdays. Admission is free and open to the public. Scottsdale Artists' School is located at 3720 N. Marshall Way in the Scottsdale Arts District (SW corner of 2nd Street and Marshall Way). Free parking is available in the school's parking lot
