Scottsdale, AZ (March 3, 2008) – Professional artists from Scottsdale Artists’ School are “movin’ on up” to the North Valley for the second time in three months.
“The overwhelming response to the first series of art classes for aspiring artists in the Carefree/Cave Creek area has prompted Scottsdale Artists’ School to do it again beginning in late-March,” according to Suzie Wilson, professional SAS artist and Carefree resident who originated the idea.
“The School’s initial classes were so well-attended and demand for more of them so gratifying that we couldn’t resist the invitation to return,” according to Wilson, who is also a member of SAS’ Board of Trustees.
Included in the new series of “off-site” classes are two packages of six half-day art workshops, one on drawing and the other on oil painting, to be held on consecutive Mondays beginning March 31.A special three-day workshop on impressionistic still life floral painting will also be conducted in Carefree April 3-5. Tuition for the three-day workshop is $350. Tuition for each package of the half-day workshops is $270.
The classes, similar to those taught by professional artists in the studios at Scottsdale Artists’ School, will be held at the Parish Hall of Good Shepherd of the Hills Episcopal Church in Cave Creek at 6502 E. Cave Creek Road. Students can register by calling 480-990-1422 or on-line at www.ScottsdaleArtSchool.org.
