FRED X BROWNSTEIN holds a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute, and studied extensively in Italy at Pasquini Studio and Nerina Simi Studio. A master stone sculptor, he also works in clay. He is a Fellow of the National Sculpture Society and has won numerous awards including the Leonard J. Meiselman Memorial Award from the NSS and the Salamagundi Club’s Domenico Facci Memorial Award. Recent exhibitions include Brookgreen Gardens, Pawleys Istaldn, SC; Arnot Museum of Art, Elmira, NY; and a solo show at Chesterwood Museum, Stockbridge, MA.
