ROY ANDERSEN began his career as an illustrator, creating covers for Time, Sports Illustrated, and National Geographic, as well as countless book covers, movie posters, and more than a dozen U.S. postage stamps. Shifting gears to a career in fine art, seven of his paintings now hang in the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery and he has painted murals for the National Parks Service and Royal Saudi Naval Headquarters. He is represented by Legacy Galleries of Scottsdale, AZ and Jackson, WY; Settles West gallery, Tucson, AZ and Claggett/Rey Gallery, Vail, CO.
