Joe Anna Arnett earned a BFA from the University of Texas and studied at the Art Students League in New York. Based in Santa Fe, NM, Arnett grows many of the flowers seen in her paintings. She is a regular participant in the Prix de West Invitational Exhibition and an AOA Master at the Artists of America show. Her work is widely exhibited and she was recently a finalist in International Artist Flowers Challenge. She has been featured in the International Herald Tribune, Southwest Art, Western Art Digest, The Artist's Magazine, Australian Artist's Magazine and several books, including Painting with Passion, The Best of Flower Painting and The Best of Flower Painting II. She has written articles for American Arts Quarterly, ART Ideas and The Artist's Sketchbook, as well as numerous articles for the The Artist's Magazine. Arnett’s work may be viewed at Zaplin-Lambert Gallery, Santa Fe, NM; Cambridge Fine Art, Santa Monica, CA; Kneeland Gallery, Ketchum, ID; and Gallery B, Lexington, KY.
