Daub - Supply List (October) Relief

Relief sculpture, quite simply, is one of the most fascinating of all sculptural art forms. Although it is firmly rooted in the sculptor’s realm, it owes its design and composition to the draftsman and painters’ turf, and its dynamism to a 2-D format and use of perspective.

Eugene will demonstrate and discuss his approach and respect of this powerful art form. Students may choose to work from a live model or their own photo reference. Although there will be live models provided during the workshop, photos and digital images are commonly used to create reliefs. Students may bring their own reference for portraits.www.dfsculpturestudios.com
