Supply List
Tanhueco Oils supply list (Sept.)

This class will focus on the simplified approach to painting and drawing the head/portrait. One of the biggest problems students have is learning to see the portrait in a simplified manner. Students will learn to add only what is needed to paint a powerful portrait. A strong foundation is the most important part of any painting. Working from life, participants will learn to take all of the information that we see and make sense of it on the canvas. Topics covered will include: the planes of the head, basic head construction, color composition, and more. Class will include demonstration and individual attention with each student.
