By fundraising the School underwrites each adult student on average of $200 per workshop. We rely on the generosity of our donors to help support the School and many have done so by paying it as a donation. Thank you for your generosity. The “Tuition Price” alone or an added donation: “Studio Support Donation.” “Studio Support Donation” is a tax-deductible donation to the School.

In this five week class students will be introduced to the process of sculpting the realistic human figure to scale.  JD will begin by instructing the students in how to construct an armature to support the figure.  Working from a live model the students will then learn how to use calipers to measure proportions and reduce the figure to 1/3 scale.  Working in oil based clay the students will be taught to think in terms of three dimensional design, rhythm, balance, proportion, and anatomy, all in a fun learning environment!
