Johnson-Nechtman Workshop Materials

This two day workshop will concentrate on painting animal (Day 1) and human (Day 2) figures as well as the application of paint with correct values, leaving lost and found edges for interest and movement, and integrating the foreground with the background to make a cohesive painting.  Participants will learn to leverage their contour drawing as a guide (not a border) as the basis for building form with the use of glazes and washes.  This is an excellent workshop for gaining confidence in painting both animal and human forms, upgrading your painting ability, and learning to be more analytical of your own and others’ paintings.
