By fundraising the School underwrites each adult student on average of $200 per workshop. We rely on the generosity of our donors to help support the School and many have done so by paying it as a donation. Thank you for your generosity. When you sign up for a workshop, there are two fields listed. The “Tuition Price” alone or an added donation: “Studio Support Donation.” “Studio Support Donation” is a tax-deductible donation to the School.

National award winning artist Gerald Ruggiero will cover a wide range of techniques possible in the monotype process including: additive and subtractive approaches, ink rolling methods, ghost prints, and “Chine Colle”. Students will learn “Additive” and “Subtractive” techniques used in the image making process. Using demonstration and guidance each student will learn how to compose a monotype using all design elements such as line, color, value, edge and texture. This high-energy workshop will afford students with a truly fun experience while acquiring critical skill sets that can be used in any art form moving forward.
