Drawing the head from life is a critically important skill for the realist figurative artist.  It’s always exciting to see the amazing variety of faces that make up humanity. In this informative yet enjoyable class students will be drawing in charcoal, with an emphasis on identifying accurate drawing, values and planes as well as discussing anatomy. The class will discuss lighting the model to show form modeling and the instructor will talk about how students can practice their drawing skills from home.  Linda will demonstrate to the class as well as work extensively with each student to bring him or her to the next level of skill and enthusiasm for the process.
