About Studio Support Donation
By fundraising the School underwrites each adult student on average of $200 per workshop. We rely on the generosity of our donors to help support the School and many have done so by paying it as a donation. Thank you for your generosity. When you sign up for a workshop, there are two fields listed. The “Tuition Price” alone or an added donation: “Studio Support Donation.” “Studio Support Donation” is a tax-deductible donation to the School.

This two-day workshop will cover methodology for rationalizing and capturing non-traditional lighting set-ups. This workshop will teach students to help create visual interest and mood in a drawing through various lighting techniques. Students will learn how to visualize and interpret light pattern in a simplistic more digestible method. Some of the topics that will be covered include: up lighting, soft lighting, backlighting, rim light, sharp and soft lighting, reflect light, high contrast, low contrast, fill light and basic camera techniques.
