Course Title: Designing a Strong Point for Landscapes in Watercolor
Course Meets: 07-10-2012 - 08-14-2012
Time: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Tuition: $270
Description: One of the most challenging aspects of landscape painting is establishing a “center of interest”, or “focal point”. Abstract design must be understood and utilized in order to create a dominant point of interest, no matter how representational the painting is meant to be. Therefore, our focus will be combining abstract design with realism for a stronger composition. There will be demos, exercises, critique and lots of painting time.
