HISTORY   AND   MISSION

Scottsdale Artists' School's was incorporated in 1983 by a founding group of artists and community leaders. For 25 years we have trained artists who require an understanding of traditional fine art, with a core outcome to empower and inspire artists of all ranks. Operations and programs are partially funded by tuition. Additional income is provided by corporate, private donations as well as State and Federal agencies. The School attracts more than 2200 students each year from all 50 states and several foreign countries. All workshops and programs offered are taught by professional working artists, many of whom teach exclusively at Scottsdale Artists' School. The School is located in the historic Loloma School building in old town Scottsdale, Arizona.
