Camille Przewodek

Biography

Camille Przewodek's creativity is centered around her excitement over light. Light as it falls on the landscape at specific times of day and under specific conditions. In addition to her art training at Wayne State University in Detroit, and earning a BFA in Illustration at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco, Camille studied painting with master colorist Henry Hensche at the Cape School of Art in Provincetown, Massachusetts.

Camille is a Signature Member of the Laguna Plein Air Painters and the California Art Club, and a Master Signature Member of the American Impressionist Society, Oil Painters of America, and American Women Artists.

Her approach to capturing the colors and light effects of nature has garnered extensive coverage in numerous books and magazine articles, and her paintings have been featured in national ad campaigns for clients Alfa Romeo, Target, Loews Hotels, and others.

Camille teaches a limited number of painting workshops across the country each year - however, she does offer regular weekly classes close to home at her studio in northern California, and has recently developed an online, long distance learning program for her students to continue their color study after a workshop.
